Change of Norfolk Holiday Dates. You may by now have received an email or letter from Tailored Travel re our changed dates for our 4 night holiday. (See below)
In the first instance – if you are unable to go on this holiday and don’t want to incur the £75 cancellation charge,  it may be possible to find another NT member who would would like to replace you. Do not contact Tailored Travel but phone or email Louise Platt, louiseplatt@sky.com, who will try and help.

After watching the PM’s plan re Covid I decided that I should contact Tailored Travel promptly re our holiday as restrictions would not be lifted until 21st June.
I was very concerned about getting accommodation if I left things any longer as people would understandably be rushing to book holidays after this date and the George Hotel might not be available for us.
They contacted the hotel and reserved the next available date which was 28th June for our group. Tailored Travel were concerned about venues etc being open for our trip – but we felt that by this date most places would be open for us. Louise Platt

For the past 12 months we have all been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and the associations activities have been greatly curtailed, particularly in the summer of 2020. As a result the committee decided that we would not ask for a subscription in September 2020. We have agreed that the subscription due in September 2021 would be set at £8 for the year and not due until January 2022. We will then reassess the situation and hopefully the year starting September 2022 will be normal.

You will see that we only made donations to the National Trust of £750 , but it was felt prudent for us to hold a larger balance than usual for the time being.

Many thanks to Roger Turner for examining the Accounts.

Walkers’ Holiday / Freedom Break: Malham 2022

The holiday this year will not go ahead but we have been offered a 4 day break from Monday 21st March 2022 to Friday 25th March.  The price will be similar to 2020 unless we are not able to get sole occupancy.  We will still have the option of Guided Walking, Discovery Holiday and Self Guided.

Please could you let Janet Clews know if you would be happy to transfer your booking to 2022.  Those not wishing to go will get a full refund.  If you know of anyone else who would be interested in this holiday, please contact Janet by phone, e-mail or through our ‘contact us’ page.

Coronavirus Update
