Walks will be about 5 miles in length but no arrangements for meals afterwards will be made, this is because large group bookings may remain difficult to make, however, individuals may make their own arrangements.

Friends and non-NT members are welcome and each walker donates £1 to NT funds.  Every walk has a planned coffee stop, so bring refreshments.

Call or text me to go on the mailing list and receive an email with further details each month.

I know that many WNTA members enjoy a Saturday outing with this group and we are all grateful to those who lead our walks.  With a couple more leaders, each would be needed less than once a year.

If you have never led a walk it may seem daunting but I would be pleased to help you with any of the stages, if you would like to give it a go.  I have a long list of previous walks and pubs to draw on for inspiration.  To lead a walk you pick a route, walk it in advance (not on your own), and choose a pub (when social distancing allows). On the day of the walk you go to your chosen meeting point, either Aldridge or the Crescent, to see if anyone needs a lift, lead the walk and receive our grateful thanks.

We have a very sociable few hours walking and at the pub and raise a small amount for the National Trust in the process.  Please give this appeal your consideration and don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like to give it a go.
